Through the years, Shellbrook Apartments has been the home to many fabulous residents. These people have become like family. We have been honored to be a part of your life, to witness commitments and wedding ceremonies, to be a part of your growing family, to celebrate life events/holidays, and to take care of you through retirement. Thank you for calling Shellbrook home.
We asked one resident who has been a resident here for 10 years what he thought of Shellbrook and he wanted to share this:
My name is Bill Robbins. I have been living at Shellbrook since 2006! I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but will be moving only because I am retiring and moving out of the area. I have experienced nothing but the best customer service from the Office and Maintenance staff while living in my apartment over the years. I have had excellent neighbors, and even some of my neighbors have lived at the property for as long as I have. l am going to miss Shellbrook very much, but will continue to follow the property on Facebook and through their website.
We are going to miss you Mr. Robbins and wish you nothing but the best in this exciting chapter of life. Please keep in touch!
It’s getting really exciting around here at Shellbrook these days! It’s bittersweet, but we are thrilled to say that the old clubhouse has been demolished and the new one is on it’s way! For those of you that don’t already know, we are building a new clubhouse that is going to be over 4,000 square feet! This clubhouse will include the Business office, a new Fitness Center, a centralized mail center, Business Center, Billiards Room, and last but not least…..the NEW POOL!!! The clubhouse will also include a lounging area and will be open 24/7! What a treat! We hope you all are as excited as we are about the renovation! #beforemidtownwascool
This clubhouse has helped create many memories over its lifetime. As we prepare for demolition day on Monday June 27, 2016 we would like to take a look at the existing clubhouse and reflect. We do hold Shellbrook as a place with many special memories for residents and staff alike who have celebrated special occasions like resident bridal/baby showers, graduation celebrations, and super bowl parties; just to name a few. This clubhouse in particular holds a special place in the hearts of many, including Drucker & Falk’s Director Kellie Falk. Kellie's father built this clubhouse and community in 1972 and was the site of one infamous celebration: Kellie's 18th birthday party. We are excited to begin this sentimental journey and hope our residents and community will share this experience with us by following our blog and documentation of the progress on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
